My Journey with Oil Pastels: From inquiring Beginner to fervent Artist

When I first picked up a set of oil pastels, I had no idea how transformative this lively medium would be for my artistic journey. As a inquiring beginner, I was haggard to their rich, creamy texture and bold, bright colors. Little did I know, oil pastels would become my favorite tool for stating creativity and emotion on paper. My journey with oil pastels started quite suddenly. I was itinerant through an art supply store when a box of bright, colorful firewood caught my eye. They appeared to promise a world of artistic potentials, so I decided to give them a try. Unlike other mediums, oil pastels touched friendly. There was  no need for brushes, water, or a palette—just the pastels and my imagination.

The early phase of my journey was all about experimentation. I quickly learned that oil pastels are incredibly versatile. You can blend them with your fingers, a cloth, or even a blending base to create smooth transitions and gradients.
